Warranty

MEAKI Leather items purchases are covered by LIFETIME Warranty for manufacturing defects, effective from the date of delivery. 

Products without metal hardware: no clips, buttons, buckles, or clasps — are covered by Full Lifetime Warranty. Products that include metal hardware, such as clasps, snaps, or buckles, are covered by a 5-year warranty for manufacturing defects, effective from the date of delivery, since hardware components naturally wear differently than stitched leather over decades of use.

If your product develops a fault during the warranty period (such as problems with metal hardware, stitching, or unexpected deterioration of the leather), you can return it to us for a complimentary repair. Each claim will be assessed individually. This warranty does not cover general wear and tear, damage caused by accident/misuse, alterations to the original product by third parties, disregard of product care instructions, or the natural aging process that is characteristic of each type of leather.

If your item is no longer covered by the warranty, please still contact us. We will assess whether a charged repair is possible and discuss the available options, although repairs outside the warranty period cannot be guaranteed.


WHAT WE DON'T COVER

  • General wear and tear
  • Damages caused by accident
  • Alterations made to the original product by any third parties
  • Any disregard to product care instructions
  • General neglect through use
  • The natural ageing process specific to each leather or material, including patination and burnishing (please refer to each product description including features, materials and care instructions))
     

We cannot take responsibility for any loss or inconvenience caused by the faulty item or by its repair/replacement process, nor can we supply temporary replacement items while the faulty item is with us

To make a claim, please send us an email at merakileatherhelp@gmail.com with pictures and a description detailing the issues. Please also provide us with a place and month/year of purchase.
